In my work as artist, I use paints, dyes, wax, and discharge agents to create my own fabrics. Layered with text and images, my work explores memory and a sense of loss, both individual and collective.

Captivated by found and recycled objects, including corrugated cardboard, old photos and ephemera, I'm also intrigued by the design potential of construction fence, kitchen implements and other ordinary objects.

I'm disturbed by how easily we throw away, tear down, and  obliterate the past, often with no improvement. As I re-purpose the fragments I find, I am giving them new life.
